Compassion

For more than 70 years, Compassion has existed to release children from poverty in Jesus’ name. We partner with churches in over 25 developing countries so that support is driven and given by locals to locals.

Hope Village

What started as a home for 12 orphaned and abandoned children has grown. Hope Village has been family for over 80 children, and now includes a kindergarten, primary school, high school, church and community hub for medical clinics and clean water. Our vision for every child, life in all its fullness. Because of our community-focused solutions, for every child you help, four more children benefit.  All of us here at World Vision are connected in our desire to overcome poverty for all children, everywhere. We have been proudly going to places where we are needed most, for over 70 years. As a Christian aid agency, we help people on the basis of their need regardless of race, religion or creed.

Awaken Global operations

In order to facilitate the ongoing growth of all our locations towards the vision they've been given, funds are necessary to empower local leaders, enabling them to receive further training, pastoral care, and encouragement. These funds also enable the 'back-end' team of Awaken Global to visit locations, offer support, and manage all necessary administrative tasks within our extensive network of churches

ACTS Global Vision fund

Awaken Church is a network of churches affiliated with Acts Global Churches, spanning approximately 100 nations. Each year at the Australian National Conference, donations are gathered towards future projects that advance the kingdom of God within ACTS Churches. Here at Awaken, we believe in contributing to all that God is doing within this remarkable movement.

The Pantry

The Pantry is a community organisation that provides grocery items at substancially reduced prices to assist people in our community experiencing financial hardship. Open every Wednesday at Awaken Church Canberra 9.30-11.30am. All welcome. No concession card needed.

Christmas at Dusk

Christmas at Dusk is our annual Christmas Carols event. Each year we hold community carols on the lawns of Awaken Canberra including games, activies and food that the whole family can enjoy. Keep an eye on our socials for this years date!
